Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Vourn, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Vourn is operated by Ward-Cubrilla Tech Ventures, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.

2. Who Can Use Vourn

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vourn. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Founders

As a founder on Vourn, you agree to:

• Post honest, authentic content about your building journey
• Not impersonate other individuals or misrepresent your project
• Take responsibility for all content you post
• Not post content that is harmful, illegal, defamatory, or violates the rights of others

4. Supporters

As a supporter on Vourn, you agree to:

• Engage respectfully with founders
• Honor personal offers you make in good faith
• Not use the platform to harass, spam, or exploit founders

5. Payments

Financial support transactions on Vourn are processed by Stripe. Vourn charges an 8% platform fee on all financial transactions. All payments are final — Vourn does not offer refunds on support given to founders. Founders are responsible for reporting income received through the platform in accordance with applicable tax laws.

6. Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Vourn. By posting content, you grant Ward-Cubrilla Tech Ventures, LLC a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform. You may delete your content at any time subject to the 24-hour edit window for entries.

7. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in harmful behavior, or misuses the platform. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension except in cases of severe violations.

8. Disclaimer

Vourn is provided as-is. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes for founders, including financial support, business success, or follower growth. We are not responsible for the actions of supporters or founders on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ward-Cubrilla Tech Ventures, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vourn.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Vourn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
